Well done to all of our pupils for their hard work and achievements this week 👏 A special congratulations to Elm Class and Hazel Class for their fantastic attendance, both achieving above 97%, and to Griffins House for taking the lead in this week’s house point standings. A big well done also to Dragons House for continuing to hold onto the overall termly lead — a brilliant effort from everyone!

Reception had fun keeping cool with the water play this morning. We even had some great examples of writing numbers and making patterns!

We had a fantastic week last week, finished with another Celebration Assembly to recognise and celebrate all the brilliant students here at our school! A huge well done to all of our attendance winners! 👏 Special congratulations go to Blossom Class, who achieved an incredible 100% attendance! 💯 Every day in school helps children build confidence, form friendships and make the most of every learning opportunity – what a great achievement! We were also thrilled to highlight this week's Stars of the Week, who have shown fantastic effort, determination and represented all of our school values. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves! ⭐ Finally, well done to our Times Tables Rockstars winners, House points, and our House Badge recipients, your hard work and positive attitudes are shining through! 🥳 Keep up the amazing work, everyone, we can't wait to see what next week's Celebration Assembly brings!

Year 3 had an exciting trip to Whipsnade Zoo this week! 🐧🦁🦎 The visit brought to life their learning about animals and their survival needs as they explored the zoo and met a wide variety of fantastic creatures. From discovering where different animals come from to learning about their diets and habitats, the children were full of curiosity and asked some brilliant questions throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of how well Year 3 represented the school, making the most of every opportunity to learn while being kind and considerate to zoo staff and other visitors.

Year 6 were visited by CAMH this week, completing a transition workshop in support of their mental health and wellbeing before the big change!

Year 3 recently enjoyed an exciting drama workshop where they explored different emotions through role play, building confidence, communication and teamwork skills. 🎭 The session linked brilliantly to their History and English learning, helping pupils develop empathy, understand characters' perspectives and discover how dialogue brings stories to life. It was wonderful to see every child engaged, creative and eager to participate!

Another fantastic week of celebrations at The Linden Academy! 🌟🐻 A huge well done to all of our Stars of the Week for their hard work, kindness and positive attitudes 👏⭐ Congratulations to Blossom Class, who were our attendance winners this week with an impressive 98.2% attendance! 🙌📚 We also celebrated our brilliant Times Tables Rockstars and Numbots winners 🎸🧮, with a special shout-out to Divyansi P in Year 1 for earning an incredible 150,765 coins this week 🤩 Well done to Phoenix House, who are currently leading both the weekly and termly totals 🔥🏆, and congratulations to all of our Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum House Point award winners this week – we are so proud of you all! 💙

Our Easter bonnets deserve a space on our Facebook wall even if it is a little late! We had some fabulous entries into our Easter bonnet competition; a lot of creativity and design went into these! Well done to everyone who designed a bonnet...same time next year?
