Linden Academy Celebrates Exciting KS1 & KS2 Sports Days – A Proud Moment for a Local Luton School

The Linden Academy, a good school in Luton known for its commitment to academic excellence and community engagement, is thrilled to share the success of our recent KS1 and KS2 sports days! As one of the excellent schools in the area, our events highlighted not only our pupils’ athletic talents but also the strong sense of community that makes us a standout among local schools.

On May 19th, our youngest pupils from Foundation to Year 3 took part in a lively and fun-filled KS1 sports day. The event was packed with exciting activities that encouraged teamwork, fitness, and friendly competition—all set against the backdrop of perfect weather. We were delighted to see such a fantastic turnout from our supportive parent community. A huge thank you goes out to all the parents who came to cheer on their children, and an extra special thanks to those who joined in the action during our parent races! Your participation helped create unforgettable moments for your children and added extra joy to the day.

We are also incredibly proud of our Year 6 sports leaders, whose dedication and support during the KS1 event were invaluable. Their leadership and enthusiasm reflected the values we nurture at The Linden Academy.

After the half-term break, on June 5th, our KS2 pupi;s from Year 4 to Year 6 took centre stage at the outstanding Stockwood Athletics Tracks. Despite a cloudy sky, the atmosphere was electric as children gave it their all in a day filled with sportsmanship and spirit. We’re grateful to all the parents who joined us at the event—your encouragement helped make the day special.
