Year 2 Adventures at Our Local School in Luton
Year 2 Adventures at Our Local School in Luton – Inspiring Learning Through Real-Life Experiences
At our local school in Luton, we believe in providing an excellent curriculum that brings learning to life for every child. Recently, our Year 2 pupils had two exciting and educational experiences that helped enrich their classroom learning in fun and meaningful ways.
We were thrilled to welcome children’s author Simon Murray, who visited our school to inspire creativity and imagination. The children enjoyed exploring his much-loved bookIcky Doo Dah and had the opportunity to design their own wonderful characters. It was a fantastic way to develop literacy skills and creativity—just one of the many ways we aim to be a good school for your child.
In another exciting visit, our local fire and rescue team spent time with Year 2, teaching the children about fire safety. The pupils learned how to stay safe in an emergency, heard the sound of a smoke alarm, and even got the chance to dress up as firefighters! They explored a real fire engine and learned all about what’s inside. The visit was a powerful way to reinforce the importance of knowing the emergency number and understanding how to respond in dangerous situations.
At our school, we’re committed to delivering an engaging and excellent curriculum that supports real-world learning. If you’re looking for the school best for your child, we’d love to show you why so many families choose our good school in Luton.
