Wraparound Care
Wraparound Care at The Linden Academy.
We understand that family life can be busy, especially with primary school chidlren. Our wraparound care provision offers a safe, supportive and engaging environment for children before and after the school day, helping to make mornings smoother and afternoons more flexible, supporting our families in Luton and our local community.
What we offer:
At The Linden Academy, we provide:
- Breakfast Club before school
- After-School Club at the end of the day
Our provision is open to all pupils and is run by familiar, experienced school staff in a safe and welcoming environment.
The After-School Club runs from 3:15pm to 5:45pm.
At the end of the school day, your child’s class teacher will take them directly to the club once their class has been dismissed.
Available Sessions & Prices
- Session 1: 3:15–4:15pm — £6
- Session 2: 3:15–5:45pm — £12
- Session 3: 4:15–5:45pm — £10
This session is for children who attend another after-school activity and require wraparound care afterwards.
- All bookings must be made through Arbor School Club bookings.
- Bookings must be completed one week in advance to allow us to organise staffing and maintain the correct adult-to-child ratios.
- The booking deadlines for each week are outlined in the table.

Our wraparound care is designed to be both enjoyable and relaxing. Children can take part in a range of activities, including:
- Arts and crafts
- Games and sports and free play activities
- Homework station
- Reading and quiet time
- Social time with friends
Whether it’s a calm start to the morning or a fun way to unwind after school, there’s something for everyone.
Children can choose what they would like to do from the activities on offer. All children will be encouraged to take part in the physical activity for a short part of their time in the club.
A weekly timetable will be sent our prior to the week of the club.
At the moment, the club is not providing food but hopes to in the future. Please pack your child a healthy snack (no cakes, chocolate bars, sweets, fizzy drinks, juice) if you wish them to have something to nibble and /or sip on! Water will be available to all children.
Terms and conditions:
- Once your booking is made, there will be no refunds for the booking unless we have to cancel the club for any reason.
- Once the club is full, it is full.
- Bookings must be made by the date stated in the table above.
- Children must be collected on time or before the end of the stated time.
- Payments must be made in advance by the date stated above.
- Childcare vouchers can be redeemed against the club.
- Please collect your child from the main entrance by pressing the intercom button on the side of the building (on the left as you look at the main entrance)
- You will be asked to sign your child out upon collection. Please note the time you ring the intercom to ensure it coincides with the time, before you sign your child out. If you pick your child up outside your chosen time slot, additional costs will be applied.
- Please ensure the collector has the child’s unique password. We will not pass children over to anyone without the password. We appreciate your support.
